Hepatitis B Virus Training Summary:
Hepatitis B affects the liver. People can have Hepatitis B for six months before symptoms set in, so it can be easily spread unknowingly to others. Symptoms of Hepatitis B are yellowing of the skin and the whites of the eyes, fatigue, loss of appetite, joint pain, and night sweats. It is more concentrated than HIV in a sample of blood, so it is much easier to catch this virus from exposure. The virus is spread predominately from sexual contact and IV drug abuse.
